1. What is PADZ?
PADZ is a worldwide rental platform that allows users to find and advertise any type of rental accommodation - homes, short lets, holiday lettings and houseshares. The aim of PADZ is to make renting and letting property easier, quicker and more fun.
2. What is the best way to view PADZ?
The fastest and clearest way to view PADZ is with Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer 8.
3. Is PADZ an estate agency, realtor or broker?
No. PADZ is an independent forum that allows landlords and agents to advertise accommodation to rent and for tenants to search for accommodation.
4. Why is PADZ different?
PADZ is more than just property advertising network, it provides functionality which has been tailored specifically to the rentals market where up to date accurate information, and trust between tenants, landlords and tenants are very important. PADZ has a strong community and social aspect. Tenants can leave reviews about the property they stayed in and all users can leave feedback about each other. It also allows landlords to use new social marketing methods by promoting their adverts on Facebook and Twitter. Under the PADZ pricing model users are charged only for the days an advert is listed. By encouraging users to switch adverts off as soon as a property is let, the site is constantly kept up to date.
5. Who is behind PADZ?
PADZ is a privately owned company based in London. PADZ was setup by Thomas Karcher and Matthew Wilson, who are both experienced landlords.
6. What geographic areas does PADZ cover?
PADZ has been carefully designed to work across many different countries. Using our unique geocoding technology you can search for and advertise a rental property literally anywhere in the world.

8. Who can advertise on PADZ?
If you own or are the agent for any type of rental property then you can advertise it on PADZ. We accept advertisements for residential lettings, holiday lettings, corporate and short stay lets.
9. How much does it cost to advertise on PADZ?
We pride ourselves in providing one of the cheapest ways to advertise rental property on the internet. We provide detailed information on our pricing on our sign up page.
10. Can I advertise commercial property on PADZ?
PADZ is for residential property only, so we do not accept adverts for offices, retail units or other types of commercial space.
11. I'm having trouble uploading photos, what am I doing wrong?
We only accept photos in jpg or gif format and up to a maximum size of 8Mb. You should check that your images follow this format.
12. Can I pay for banner advertising on PADZ?
You can contact us with any advertising enquiries at info@padz.com
13. Why do I need to register to access some of the features on PADZ?
We need you to register to access certain parts of the site so that we can remember who you are for future visits and use some of the more advanced features of the site. We promise to always keep your personal details private.
14. Will my personal details be given to anyone?
We will not sell or forward your personal information to anybody. We will keep your personal information private from other users of the site. You have the option to provide a username (an alias) which will be displayed instead of your fullname, You also have the option to provide contact details including your telephone number so that tenants may contact you directly. You can view further information about how we keep you personal information private by reading our privacy policy.
15. I've forgotten my password. What do I do?

16. Why doesn't PADZ recognise the location that I type in?
We use Google Maps technology to search for locations. If your location is not recognised then please try to make your location more specific by including the country, or by searching for the nearest major town.
17. I can't see the full address of the property.
We don't display the full postal address of our properties in the search results, although we do provide the street. This is because we want to protect our landlords from unsolicited mail and visitors. Once you have made a booking for the property you will be provided with the full address.
18. I can't see the email address or the telephone number on which to contact the property owner.
Some of our property owners choose to keep their email address and telephone number private so that they do not receive unwanted calls and mail. You can still get in touch with the property owner by using our secure messaging system within PADZ.com. When you send a secure message the property owner will be notified by their regular private email.
